Life as we knew it pre-COVID is is slowly coming back to us, with the return of the Ramadan Bazaar and such night markets. Tampines residents, it’s your turn: the Tampines MRT Station pasar malam is back, bigger and better this time, and with new stalls too!

According to Facebook page I Love Tampines, the Tampines pasar malam will run from now till 30 August 2022. At the point of their post yesterday, not all the stalls were ready yet, but it’s hoped that everything will be up and running by this weekend.

Apart from pasar malam favourites, including Broti SG, known for their 1L Thai iced tea and soda drinks, there will be new stalls at this month’s pasar malam!

One stall that you should definitely check out at this pasar malam is 2KulGuyz, a newish face at bazaars. Run by Chef Sazali, who’s got more than 20 years of experience in the culinary world, their Italian-centric menu includes Pizzaz, Pastaz, Lasagnaz, and more.

But the most exciting items on 2KulGuyz’ menu are their Durian Burger ($14.90) and Durian Pizza ($13.90), the former regularly sold out at previous bazaars.

The Durian Burger comprises a durian meat patty, rice crisps, and a duo of caramelised gula melaka and creamy cheese sauces.

Their Durian Pizza, though, is pretty new to the menu, only having made its appearance last month. Here, you’ll get a thin crust pizza with durian flesh, caramelised gula melaka sauce, mozzarella cheese, and rice crisps.

Of course, there’ll be your requisite Ramly burger stalls, and the well-loved O.M.G Sweet Potato Balls.You can also look forward to eating your fill at Muslim-owned KREAM, who claim to make Singapore’s best coney dogs, and Mango Bossku, with their Korean cheesesticks and mango shakes.
