Quilt Show: Mountain Stars Quilters Guild will host their biennial quilt show from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 22-23, at the Medford Armory, 1701 S. Pacific Highway. This year’s theme is “Catch the Wave.” More than 200 quilts will be displayed, some of which will be available for purchase. Also look for quilting related vendors, the Pins & Needles Boutique which sells gently used quilt books and sewing equipment in addition to items made by members, raffles, and hourly Floor Bingo for door prizes. Sue Cunningham and Susan J. Tresner are this year’s featured quilters. Special displays will include the 2020 “Let’s Get Wet” Guild Challenge quilts, Quilts of Valor made by guild members for veterans and service members affected by war, the 2022 Southern Oregon Longarm Association challenge “Words are Power,” and the Rogue Modern Quilt Guild “Bee City” quilts.
